Amazing bread, pastries and desserts. VERY affordable prices like back home in Europe. Love this place and will continue to buy their baked goods. Highly recommend to everyone. View all feedback.
You just have to visit and give it a try! You will not be disappointed!
An absolute gem in the area if you're into southeast European flaky pastries and phyllo dough based goodies. A wide variety of pita (cheese, meat, potato, ... , pigs in a blanket, croissants, bread, kifla, slanci. Also, their sweets selection is amazing. Unfortunately, as COVID-19 hit, the place had to slow down until it closed on March 15, 2020 and decided to not reopen. Many of us will miss this amazing little shop, but some of us will miss it more, for it was one of few remaining places where we could get a smell and taste of home.
A European bakery! I just discovered this little bakery. What a great find in the 'food desert ' of suburbia! I can report that the croissants are nice and flaky. To be honest, I have had better croissants in Montreal and in Europe, but these are also very good. Besides a range of Eastern-European pastries, they have wonderful crusty loaves of white bread. You will not find rediculous hipster bread 'gluten-free quinoa kiwi loaf ' at the Legacy Bakery. Just honest real bread with no preservatives that tastes like bread should taste.
This place has the best burek in town hands down. I would recommend trying all of the baked goods but especially the burek!
Legacy Bakery has great baked goodies and awesome service.
