What Stephanie Schmidt doesn't like about Freshii:
Always used to come to this Freshii to get a Buddha's Satay bowl with tofu because it was better than any other location. Sadly, I ordered my usual from this location today and it was so disappointing : My bowl had no spicy peanut sauce and not as much tofu as it used to. Small portions and expensive though the food itself was good tasting
First time coming in and it was okay. We got the cob salad and was impressed that the chicken actually had flavour, I just really didn't like the prices for the little amount we received. I feel the bowls should have been filled to the top for those prices. And it was an okay experience staff was friendly but the place looked dirty in the smaller details. If I need something healthy on the go I probably would come here BUT I much rather go somewhere else.
The food is usually very fresh, portions are either small or fairly large, one or the other, in my experience. Expensive but healthy. 2 stars is for the poor, poor customer service. I frequent this location, and have for about 2 years. I can't believe how rude and generally unfriendly the 2 usual day time employees are. I give the benefit of the doubt, everyone has bad, unfriendly days sometimes, but I have been perpetually treated poorly by these 2 day employees. Customer service has to improve because honestly, I avoid going here sometimes simply because sometimes I can't be bothered to interact with people like those 2 employees. On the flipside, I've had wonderful food and customer service at the Guelph/Gordon St. location.
Customer service was severely lacking during my first time visit. The young woman at the cash did not respond when I greeted her, then I noticed that she was in the middle of a phone call?(cordless earbuds in) and she was also sucking the straw of her personal drink while standing at the cash register as if waiting to take my order. She seemed impatient as I looked over the menu deciding what to order.I was about to walk out at that point, but I came there to try the food, so I ordered a ‘bowl’. The flavour of the food is quite good, but very much over priced.... over $16.00 for what amounted to a fancy salad a drink!Also, my CASH payment was refused!Last time I checked Cash is still legal tender and I believe it cannot legally be refused as payment.Not a good first (and last) experience Freshii
Don't go here much but went with my daughter who is vegitarian and they ran out of mushrooms. Really???
