When you call ahead to a country pub to say you’ll be bringing no less than 14 friends and three dogs across the fields and have it confirmed you will be welcomed in the bar, it’s somewhat of a shock to be told on arrival that muddy boots and dogs are not welcome. Superb Sunday lunch today, an excellent choice of roasts, beautifully cooked, large selection of fresh vegetables and a fantastic choice of cheeses on the cheese board. Completed with a splendid glass of Malbec. Could not have enjoyed it more. Well worth a visit. View all feedback.
