Subway - Milton Keynes

I was having a great Friday, until i made the decision on national sandwich day to enter this Subway shop. To set the scene; it was lunchtime, I joined the queue or as i should specify A queue because this Subway has adopted a...system that they now have multiple queues and as i am not an avid subway eater I was unaware of this new regulation, therefore i spent the first 10 minutes in the wrong queue. When this was corrected I asked the staff member who was rude, obnoxious and quite frankly unemployable, which bread was the healthiest option he didn't know. shock. his response was the brown one' there were two brown ones. He did not listen to me about how i wanted my sandwich, and instead it got passed through several staff members before someone actually asked what salad I wanted. By this point, I was stressed, my colleague was stressed, my sandwich was probably stressed. I have never known it to take 7 people to make a sandwich before, I am surprised it wasn't shipped to mexico so they could touch my sandwich and put jalepenos on it. All in all, it was one of the worst experiences I've had ever I think really. Staff were shouting, there were many different queues, my sandwich was passed around like a souvenir and its safe to say i wont be going back.

As usual the train station branch is excellent for a breakfast sub. The meal deal with a coffee is a great value offer. Quick service and a hot sub is a great early morning fix.

Good staff and good value. I had a Veggie Delight for the first time. It is the bread of your choice with any of the salad that you want in it and was £2.60. I see that for this option the meal is actually more...expensive with a drink, which is not something I had encountered before.

No matter what kind of day you're having, being abrupt with customers is never the way to go. I believe it all starts with how the employees perceive the management's approach to customer service. This was my third visit to this restaurant and once again I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I usually try to avoid it, but this morning it was unfortunately my only option.

As a delivery truck driver, I requested a glass of water at this restaurant but was informed that they do not offer water for free and I would have to purchase it while waiting for my food. I had just come from the stadium. In my opinion, the owner, Amit Patel, should feel embarrassed about this policy.
