the drinks and desserts are much better than eating. mushroom pasta had no season and the duck was dry and also without season. some fresh herbs can go a long way (or at least some salt and pepper). eating is very beautifully presented, but only little taste. everyone on my table was disappointed and just eat to finish the teller. more beautiful place to spend a few hours. will probably return, but only for drinks. What TRAE B doesn't like about Slug Lettuce:
Chicken wings were burnt on the outside and I'm talking about all 3 of the kilo portions, almost like they were cooked in old oil from the Friday and Saturday busier nights. The peri peri chicken was dry, they charge a lot of money for these types of meals when Moon Under Water can also serve terrible food but at a cheaper price and the drinks are cheaper. The best buck for her buck especially during 50% discount mondays. eating is quite delicious and the place has a cool atmosphere. it simply sucks that the cookie cup is explosion dessert no longer on the menu.
Are here for parties, very popular, great music, great venue, friendly staff they get their dancing shoes on
This place is amazing. The food was delicious, the cocktails are 2 for 1 (all day everyday) and the staff make this place. They are friendly, engaging, personal, fun. They team work so well together and the recommendations for food and drink were spot on. We had such a fun night, so much so we returned the next day for lunch and sat outside. Chad, Sam and David what absolute stars. Will 100% be returning (even if it is an hour and half drive)
I've not eaten here but had drinks. The drinks were standard pub drinks and the service was fast with a lovely bartender. This place is what some would call a dive, but it's a nice dive. A great place for pre drinks fun and chilling out. Will have to give food a try and do another review.
