The service is consistently excellent, and the food quality is outstanding. The lamb tikka madras can occasionally be overly spicy, making it difficult to appreciate the flavors, but that's not the case here – the aromas are fantastic. The staff is attentive without being intrusive. It can get a bit noisy when it's really busy, but I highly recommend this place. View all feedback.
What Paul E doesn't like about Rose Of India:
I ordered a lamb madras from this restaurant, and I was disappointed to discover that what I received was actually mutton, which is the meat of older sheep. For those who may not know, it is not the same as lamb. If they are going to advertise lamb on the menu, they need to ensure that it is indeed lamb. I won't be ordering from here again. Great restaurant with amazing food and good vegetarian options. The friendly professional staff will make sure you have a good night out. If you want to eat out in Milton Keynes give the Rose of India a try, you won't regret it.
Exceptional service with a smile. One of the best Indian meals I have had. Everything was cooked to perfection, just as I'd asked it to be. We will definitely be back when I'm in Bletchley next. 5*
