Contribute FeedbackThe recently revamped McDonald's in Kingston Milton Keynes has impressed with its bright, clean decor and sophisticated layout. However, while the ambiance has improved, customer service has not kept pace. Guests report missing items, unresponsive staff, and frustrating experiences that mar the overall enjoyment of their meals. Complaints of cold food from delivery services and locked doors leaving customers stranded have surfaced, alongside a lackluster response to concerns. Though some appreciated the friendly efforts of staff members maintaining the space, many diners left feeling disheartened and unlikely to return, highlighting a significant gap in service quality.
When ordering from this McDonald's location, be prepared for missing items in your order, often the most expensive one. This issue occurs frequently and consistently, leading me to believe it may be intentional.
I took my children to McDonald's and when I got home, I realized that half of my order was missing. I called to inquire about the missing items, but was met with a dismissive response from the staff, implying that it was my responsibility to check my order before leaving. The manager then refused to provide a refund and only agreed to replace the missing items. Despite the fact that I had to make a second trip back to the restaurant, the manager would not provide a fresh meal to feed all of my children, leaving them unable to eat together. My older child was able to eat his meal, but the food for my younger children went cold while I drove back to McDonald's in Kingston Milton Keynes to retrieve the missing items. I was extremely disappointed with the manager's lack of concern and unwillingness to provide a proper resolution. I returned to the restaurant with the receipt as requested, but was asked if I had brought the missing food back from my home, which was 25 minutes away. I will not be returning to McDonald's in the future.
I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. I thought it couldn't get any worse, but I was wrong. The chips were uncooked, the fillet of fish was uncooked, and despite asking for a Big Mac without pickles, it was supposedly made to order but still stone cold. It was a complete waste of money as everything went straight in the bin. I don't understand why it's so difficult to cook this food properly. This was the worst McDonald's restaurant I have ever visited.
First time visiting since it was virtually rebuilt and decor etc is a massive improvement. Bright, clean, sophisticated, smart layout quite different from any other McD I have been in. Unfortunately gone too is the hustle bustle of the chain with no sign of people with the 'construction area ', hidden out of sight. Order pay via screens, wait watching screen and when your number is up, your bag bumps onto the counter with the number being shouted and the hand vanishing back from whence it came. Fortunately they have a lady keeping the place tidy and she was so diligent, friendly and a great ad for the chain. Our couple of minor issues were dealt with by her, a quick chat in which she she sang the praises of working for the company and gave us reassurance that there were humans employed here after all. Food was probably slightly better than the normal fare. Reasonable visit and would probably go back.
Dogsh*t. Order turned up half missing, the rest was stone cold and tasted disgusting, had to be thrown in the bin. If I'd have put the food in the fridge as soon as it arrived it would of warmed up.
