I popped into the store and had an early lunch. The breakfast menu was already in full swing and with a long queue. They opened the other side of the restaurant around 11am for the lunch menus. I was served very quickly and used my family card to obtain further discounts. Couldn’t ask for more. It’s basic, but a more healthy version than McDonalds! Plus free refills too! View all feedback.
What gabrielladxoxo doesn't like about Ikea:
This review is solely based on the restaurant itself. We waited approximately 25 minutes to be served our food and the payment queue was also quite long. The food was delicious with no complaints, but the soft drink station was out of order. Despite the large queue, the staff did not seem very motivated and were working at a slow pace. The food was delicious with no complaints, but the soft drink station was out of order. Despite the large queue, the staff did not seem very motivated and were working at a slow pace. Additionally, only one till was open until we were near the front of the queue, even though there were two available. I would recommend visiting on a Friday as all meals are half price.
We waited in a long queue for over an hour at this restaurant. Once we finally reached the counter, we found that the rice had not been replenished and had to request it. The service was slow, with a lack of sauce available due to running out, and the drinks area was not kept clean. The restaurant needs to improve their efficiency in order to better handle long queues, perhaps by taking a page from McDonald's and serving more quickly.
The staff at the restaurant are kind and friendly, however, the breakfast we received was not enjoyable. The vegetarian sausages were terrible and by the time we finally got our coffee, the entire meal had gone cold and was inedible. The new coffee bar is even worse than the previous one, which was already bad. It was all very confusing. Upon leaving, we were shocked to see a staff member handling cutlery by the eating end without any apparent hygiene practices. We have been to this restaurant many times in the past, but we will not be returning after this experience.
I visited IKEA Milton Keynes this morning and was slightly disappointed with the outcome. This place is a maze as it is and not one staff member was on the floor to help me for what i was looking for. I left without purchasing. Disappointed.
Not nearly enough staff!! Managed to call someone out of the kitchen as queues at hot drinks counter waiting due to no milk. After 10 orvdo minutes staff then arrived act like they have overdosed on night nurse. Couldn't catch anyone's eye to ask about the soya milk being replenished!! Dashed off too quickly. What a dreadful place
