Daughters Steak was cooked perfectly rare by John, always rely on his expertise in the kitchen and this is all backed up with Natasha who runs the front of house with a smile and great service. Today boxing day 22 a massive day for football and they closed at 7pm b... read more Very poorly ran pub the manager doesn't seem to care about the staff or what's going on. Today boxing day 22 a massive day for football and they closed at 7pm because of lack of staff, the lovely lady behind the bar could not apologize more about it. We all know people get sick or whatever it was due to but on a boxing day you make sure you have enough staff to cover things. This is not the first time it's closed early the manager likes to shut it early as he doesn't want to be there past a certain time even when it's busy as a local I want to support my local. Plus he has sent away entertainment even when they have turned up. This place used to be fantastic but since the new manager it's gone to pot. As a local I support my local but hard to do at times. The staff are amazing at what they do and always so friendly but management needs to be sorted out. Boxing day 22 is when they lost 2 to 3 grand easy and a lot of loyal people.

It can get busy during football games, but don't let that deter you from going. There is a car park in front of the restaurant that usually has available spaces, although it may be busier on weekends during football events. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Overall, a good place to try out for yourself. Prices range from £10-£20 per person.
