We were so happy to discover this restaurant in Milton. The food was delicious and you can bring your own wine for a $6 corkage fee per person. The staff were very accommodating and the portion sizes were generous. We will definitely be returning!
What a great restaurant. Food was fabulous, amongst other dishes we had the Peking Duck and have to say best I’ve had outside of China Waiter Service was excellent Overall food, drinks and value Would recommend others to try this gem in Milton, we will be going back for sure.
We have dined in the Milton area several times and have always noticed how busy this restaurant is, which we initially took as a positive sign. However, after trying the Szechuan chicken and crispy lamb chops, we were disappointed. The chicken was breaded without any sauce, and the lamb chops resembled more of ribs, also covered in bread crumbs. Additionally, when we requested stir-fried seasonal vegetables, we found that they had been cooked with MSG, so we sent them back. Despite not eating the vegetables, we were still charged $82, which we felt was not value for money. Overall, we were unimpressed and do not plan on returning.
The food was excellent, the service was very good, and the waitstaff were polite. I will definitely be dining there again soon.
The food was shocking and it was so overpriced! My friend and I bought the Deep Fried King Pawns (Maple Style) $24.80. We got 8 Prawns probably medium size and they had a chocolate sauce drizzled over them disgusting the sauce was like the chocolate sauce you get for an ice cream sundae not real chocolate but fake. Usually if you serve chocolate with something savoury it would be a very bitter dark chocolate. However the menu says Maple Style which we thought would be a maple sauce similar to a honey sauce you get in other restaurants. Who serves fake chocolate sauce with Prawns. The Garnish for the prawns was a wilted piece of parsley stuck on a wilted slice of courgette with a toothpick! Their stir fried mixed seasonal vegetables $18.80 was next. It was slices of celery with a few bits of bok choy thrown in and a couple of big chunks of red capsicum as well as 4 slices of carrots I'm sure Celery was cheap on the day. Again not tasty at all. The last dish was Mix Fried Rice with Combination Meat $13.80. It was the cheapest dish and the best out of a bad lot. The meat that was through the fried rice was diced so small, you could hardly taste it. We also ordered a glass of wine each which we had to ask for 3 times. It also took over an hour for the meal to come out. I definitely never go there again disgusting! Attend at your own peril.
