What User doesn't like about Kajun Seafood In Alpharetta:
Fried shrimp is very bland. As well as the hush puppies. My fried fish was okay and everything was hot! My grilled shrimp was well seasoned but very simple dish for the price. Overall okay place but not sure I will be back. View all feedback.
I had been eager to try this restaurant ever since AJ's Famous Seafood closed down. AJ's used to serve the best fried seafood with a light batter that was always served hot. I'm happy to report that this new place did not disappoint! It was our first time dining here and we decided to try the fried shrimp, which were large, incredibly fresh, and juicy. The fried catfish was also very fresh and had a sweet flavor. Both dishes had a light, crispy batter and were piping hot when they came out. The shrimp dish came with a generous portion of fries and 6 small but delicious hush puppies. The prices were very reasonable. We have found our new favorite seafood spot and will definitely be returning.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant tonight, which I've done at least 20 times since they opened. The food is always consistent, fresh, and delicious. I got the catfish and gumbo, both of which were excellent as usual. There was a staffing issue tonight, but the employees who were working were polite and apologetic for the delays. It was nice to see that even though the service was slow, the quality of the food remained high. Keep up the good work!
Best catfish around. Best service around. Best meal for your money, statewide! What else can be said?
This restaurant serves the worst tasting crab legs/boil I have ever had, and I really mean that! If you are seeking a "juicy crab" or authentic Cajun flavor, you should look elsewhere. The food tasted like cardboard and the butter seemed very fake. I couldn't even bring myself to finish the meal. I do not recommend this place for seafood enthusiasts. The downside was the lack of flavor, with undercooked broccoli and hard potatoes. On the bright side, the restaurant was clean and the cashier was friendly. As for the service, we dined in.
I had a great experience at this restaurant with amazing seafood that reminded me of home in New York City. The service was excellent and I opted for a takeout dinner. The price per person ranged from $20 to $30. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the catfish, beignets, and hush puppies.
