Girls weekend away and our first ever trip to Hot Water Beach. After dipping our toes in the sublime warm water we were famished so stopped in for lunch. They were so accommodating to my friend with gluten/dairy allergies. She had pan fried fish chips, other friend had beer battered fish chips and I had the fish tacos. After a morning of digging in the sand at the beach, we developed quite an appetite for breakfast. Hotties is a charming spot with a beautiful view of the beach, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The décor has a whimsical beach vibe, dominated by white colors. I ordered a breakfast burrito and a frittata with spinach topped with a poached egg, and both were absolutely delicious! Dining here felt like stepping into a tropical dream. It’s truly a special place.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that this seaside restaurant offered a couple of vegan breakfast options. I ordered the granola with coconut yogurt, while my wife had the avocado toast. The staff was very accommodating and made adjustments to our meals to ensure they were vegan-friendly.
This is a fantastic spot for lunch or dinner at Hot Beach. The tables offer a lovely view of the beach and river, and the decor is charming. The menu features a delightful mix of well-prepared dishes. I tried the fish tacos, and they were excellent. The extensive selection of wines from New Zealand pairs beautifully with the food.
Excellent food. Fresh greens and veggies. Variety of options. Even vegetarian! Fresh fish option also! Food was delicious. Service was friendly and fast. The views are beautiful. I had the edamame falafel. It came with tabouli, and hummus, fresh tomatoes, and tatziki. I loved it. Grandma got a delicious burger with beet relish and fat cut fries. It was ono!

We sat outside on a lovely day watching all the beach goers talking about how popular the cafe must be in summer. We will definitely stop in next time we are in the area.
