Worst experience. Bacon egg and cheese was ordered in butter on a burning Hamburger bungalow instead of Brioche... extra crispy bacon I was almost raw.... my cousin ordered a quiche and my mother eggs and toast. My mom's record got cold while they waited for my cousin's plates for half an hour. My cousin got frozen quiche.. the manager was snobby asking why the things from the bill... almost 2 hours and we have to pa... View all feedback.
The food was amazing... When it finally got out. Waiting was a little, but honest at the end for price and taste, his warthy waiting. The staff is very nice, friendly, not as attentive as I would have liked, but we went to a very busy time and we had 6 people in our party so understandable.
My friend and I ate at Frida's this morning and I have to say that whatever changes they did, only one was good. The waitress we had today was nice. She was sweet and courteous so I was confused why I did not see her, even to pay my check. I heard that they changed the café to a table service (this was the only good change), but when I said we wanted to dine in, one of the waitresses ignored me. We stood around like chickens with our heads cut off until asking if we could sit down at a table just to get helped. The food was deplorable. We both ordered an omelet, which came with a side of skillet potatoes and toast. My friend's omelet had no flavor to it, the vegetables inside were raw, and the potatoes were cold and tasted like they were from a can. They also tasted very sour. My omelet also had no flavor but at least the spinach was cooked, even though the cheese was not melted. My potatoes were the same as hers. The toast was actually toasted and crispy, so that was good. I went to the counter to pay and found out my waitress was in the back cooking and that the potatoes were frozen. It's not hard to cut potatoes same day to cook them. Or an even better solution, bake them or boil them a day before so the potatoes don't turn brown, then cut them to make the breakfast potatoes. I will not be partaking in this place ever again.
Great experience. The staff is very friendly. The food tastes delicious and the pastries were awesome too. We definitely will come back.
Great place for brunch highly suggested to take your family for the holiday season or just for like great if you live on the west half of the Hudson you are very close to this amazing café/bakery also have cooking classes
The Gem of all hidden Gems This cafe has so much to offer and the food is top notch with a variety of flavors. In-house made treats, breads, pastries, bagels and much more!! The salt bagels which are my favorite and hard to find are perfect with the lox. They also have the coolest party room upstairs and I can't wait to book a party there. And last but not least hands down best **** Marys on the east coast!!
