Looking for a breakfast spot and chanced upon Louie's. The place was packed but we were soon seated. Basic menu but something for everyone offered. Wait staff amazingly friendly and helpful. They don't have gluten free bread but I had a loaf in the car from shopping and they were happy to toast a slice for me. Portions were generous and nicely cooked Not a fancy spot but a good comfortable feel Clean and well designe... View all feedback.
What Pam P doesn't like about Louie's Diner:
The portions were quite large. I ordered corn beef hash with scrambled potatoes and rye toast. The hash brown potatoes were blackened not browned. Burnt onions in the hash browns. The rye bread was good but over buttered. The place was packed with people on a Saturday at noon. The single outside door opened constantly which caused it to be quite cold and breezy. We were 3 tables away from the door. After waiting for... View all feedback.
I went there with friends for brunch on a Sunday around 11 o'clock, the place was packed but we were served quickly. The food was just ok, certainly nothing to get excited about and it would be the same kind of food you could get at most of the other breakfast places in Milton. But it was the very rude older waitress that has made this a very bad experience. She came to the table and said, you are finished here and started to clear the table, then we said to her are you joking, she said no that there were customers waiting for the table and continued to clear the table. We have been at many other restaurants in town and have never been kicked out even if there were others waiting. Her attitude will certainly turn away a lot of repeat customers.
My husband and I love coming to this place. It's a great way to start our day when we happen to have a day off. I recommend trying the clubhouse sandwich or the veggie omelette. Omelettes come with home fries and a choice of rye, whole wheat or white bread. We have been eating here for four years now and the service and food is a always good. It's very busy between 7am and 9am and it's a small restaurant so you may have to wait if you visit during these times. We usually go after the morning rush.
Have gone to this establishment twice before and left before walking thru the door. This is very popular place for breakfast on Sunday mornings so beware. With that said we walked in and lucked out with two seats available right away. However sitting right next to the door on a crisp May morning isn't enjoyable. However our waitress was accommodating and offered us the seats that opened up beside us (to which we were thankful). When it comes to the food it was fantastic. With both had Louie's Benedict and it was done wonderfully. The biggest positive I can say is that there seemed to be little salt added to the dish. Very easily chefs add a lot of salt and deep fry their home fries but not Louie's. That to me was impressive. So in a nut shell, pack your patients and your appetite if your going but it's worth the wait.
Heard a lot about breakfast at Louie's, never really experienced it. Today was the day, the coffee almost met us at the door, which was really appreciated. The menu varied. The food and service were to notch. What more can we say but, give it a try.....you will not be disappointed. All day breakfast.
This was my first visit to this diner. The coffee and food were good. The onion rings were exceptional. The prices were reasonable. I was not impressed with our waitress who was about 18 to 20 years old. She was very unprofessional . She had an attitude and made flippant and rude comments. I am not impressed with this diner because of this waitress and I don't care to return.
