What User doesn't like about Madras Cafe:
Good experience at the extremely popular Madras Café. We decided to reach at the opening time 8.30 am from ~40 miles away, because we didn't find a seat on a previous afternoon visit. They run out of space pretty soon, I heard. Sambhar and chatni were okay. I was expecting them to be a little more typical. Dosas, Uttapams, Idli and Medu Wada were amazing. Very delicious! Filter coffee wasn't up to my expectation. Eit... View all feedback.
So delicious! that was my first time with proper South Indian food, and it was very good. it is located in a plaza next to the madras super market, and the line was from the door for a Thursday lunch. there was also an incessant sequence of extradition orders. this place is popular from a reason! they work like lively bees in the kitchen, but it still took a comprehensible time until our food came out. the tomatenmasala dosa was definitiw my favorite. the tomatomasala flavor is complex and tasty, and went well with the perfectly boiled (snap, but with the least crunchy really interesting texture dosa. I loved it! the pots of the carrots in the middle make it more filling, and the bowls were delicious. the wobbles rava masala dosa was completely different from the tomato masala dosa it is completely fried and dressed with wobble. I liked the texture of regular dosa more update: I went back and tried the mysore masala dosa and I loved it. it's like the tomatenmasala dosa, but with chili pepper. it is not too spicy! I think that's my new one. the filter coffee is also delicious. a thing to note is that the waiting period is very long at the weekends to lunch. tomaten masala dosa.

Amazing eating. one of the rare places where everything is delicious on the menu. the filter coffee is really good. I was surprised to eat such good Chhole features in a South Indian restaurant. a must try! amazing eating, faster service. authentic Indian vegetarian food.
One of the best restaurants around south indian food. the dosas I tried were crisp and tasty served with several chutneys and hot sambhar. this place also offers good filter coffee (a popular drink in South India.) it was a great experience and I would definitely visit again.
I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. It truly transports you to southern India. I went twice in just three days. They open at 8:30 am and offer a perfect breakfast.
