This restaurant is consistent with its other branches, serving tasty American food in large portions at a reasonable price. Coffee refills are included, though the coffee may be a bit weak. The cozy interior is decorated with bears and wood accents, but the view from the windows overlooks a busy road in Milpitas. For a more scenic experience, it may be worth visiting their other locations. View all feedback.
What Maha The Linux C doesn't like about Black Bear Diner:
My husband and I came here for dinner and the food was fairly decent. Three complaints: The time it took our waitress to do anything was excruciating. Was easily a 30 minute wait for a Cobb Salad and Stuffed French Toast which was excessive. Price. 3 pieces of blackberry stuffed french toast, small serving of fruit, and some whipped cream was $15+. A Cobb salad was $17+ and my husband it was meh, he wasn't unpleased... View all feedback.
Loved the food. We had to wait for 20 min on a busy Sunday morning. Chicken Avocado Club sandwich was really nice. The season special Pumpkin sauce waffles with side of cream and maple syrup was refreshingly good.
Ordered the fried chicken dinner meal, it came with 2 sides, I got onion rings and fries, a salad. It was delicious! My hubby ordered the chicken red steak meal with pancakes. It was delicious as well. Excellent customer service at the Milpitas Black Bear! They never dissapoint! I greatly recommend:

We had a wonderful Father's Day lunch gathering consisting of two Dads and their two adult sons at Black Bear Diner in Milpitas on a warm Sunday. Excellent food, great service, and a very friendly environment. Prices are fair, in an easy to find location with lots of parking.
Beautiful ambience. Quick service. Welcoming staff. Food was okay. Maybe I expected more in term of presentation! It’s definitely worth trying if you are looking for traditional American breakfast place!
