We arrived at 19:00 as stated online but they open at 19:30 The staff is friendly and helpful but the service wasn’t great. We ordered some antipasti, pizza, meats and pasta. My husbands pizza arrived first. Then the meat and antipasti. We were still waiting for the pasta by the time he finished. We were the first table so can’t excuse a busy place. So if you don’t mind waiting and eat first or last I’d say good to g... View all feedback.
The best restaurant in the area, all locals eat here, we saw no tourists except us. No pizza available for lunch but they do have all kinds of pastas to fulfill your needs. We went there twice (once for lunch, once for dinner). The pizza's were very tasteful, and for no money (6-9 euros). Parking is along the road. Reservation on a saturday evening is recommended or you won't have a table.
Two of us shared one menu at 22 Euros including wine, digestive etc good local food in large quantities 2 of us could not finish all of one menu! It is a busy place when other places around are half empty. Many locals eat here but they gave us Frenchies a very good service and the food although not exceptional was good and excellent value.
This family-run restaurant is one of the best value places we have been to anywhere in the world. A great place to try authentic local Sicilian food and wine and extremely good value for money. Very friendly staff that where more than helpful.
Nor exactly a locaility you'd go to without having plans, but if you are anywhere close, eating here is a must. Very friendly staff and the owner... a super sweet lady... normal atmosphere...but the food is something else. La Fiorentina. Cooked to a perfect medium rare with the perfect amount of seasoning. The Lamb.. equally delicious!!! Just wished i had more time and more stomach space to try more food. Did i mention that the Fiorentina was around or a bit more than 300gr and only €20
We were here with an organized group. Although the antipasti was nice, the main course was a disaster! I asked for a gluten free meal. The waitress tried to suggest me other options and (of course) in Italian offered me meat with salad. I was happy for the option and said yes. What I received was a huge peace of uncooked, old (it was like a chewing gum) meat and without any salad. When I asked where is the salad? She answered arrivato, arrivato , but the salad never came...Maybe the attitude was like that because we weren 't the ones who paid and were with an organized group, but I would never ever want to go back there. After that kind of meal you can easily become a vegetarian.
