We were in the neighborhood and went to dinner. Wow. This is a really great place. The food was exquisite, the portions generous, the prices appropriate, the service and the setting perfectly in any way. If you, like us, are you in the area for recreation, best (from what I observed to allow a change of clothes and arrival in some business, but I had no difficulty wearing in a polo shirt and cargo shorts (they have a... Another excellent culinary experience in one of my favorite restaurants. Service was fabulous, food was delicious, and the atmosphere is top notch. The muscle remover should die. Our waitress repeated the specials often happy. She was stellar! Will be back.
The food, the service, and the atmosphere all Pure Perfection!! This was my second visit, and I had a wonderful experience both times!! No complaints here, just compliments and praise!!
Fine dinning with attention to detail and presentation. I would highly recommend Winfield’s for a superb dinner with class
The service was excellent in a cute restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. The swordfish and Parmesan risotto was the best I've had. A visitor from PA.
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday last night, 3-23-14. We had a great experience. Our waitress was Jordan and she did a wonderful job. We started with prosciutto wrapped scallops and a 1/2 order of seafood medley risotto with clams, shrimp, scallops and crab claws. Everything was cooked to perfection. For salads we both chose caesar. Of the entire meal, the caesar was the weak link. Totally forgettable. Now I know it's just a salad and salads are regularly forgettable but I do remember the best caesar salads I've ever had. For entree my girlfriend had the pork tenderloin with an apricot demi glaze with a side of carrots and sweet potato. Pork was delicious and perfectly cooked. The apricot demi had a unique slightly burnt flavor which was delicious. Her carrot was a little crunchy but ok. I didn't ask about the potato. I chose the blue cheese encrusted, 10oz strip steak MR, with garlic mashed and asparagus. My strip came out more medium than medium rare but that's fine because I prefer medium, but I also prefer MR to MW. The blue cheese was a little heavy, but I was able to eat to my liking and push the rest to the side. Garlic mashed were great. Asparagus was beer? battered and fried I think. I couldn't finish them. They were ok. Cooked well but I'm not sure I appreciated the batter. Kinda gave it a cheap Chinese food feel. My girlfriend liked them though but I was pretty full at that point. For dessert my girlfriend had the red velvet cheesecake over and Oreo crust topped with sweet cream cheese. I had the chocolate bomb? Chocolate ganash, over chocolate cake? covered in chocolate, with a little raspberry drizzle. Both were PHENOMENAL. Happy to say that when I made the reservation I told them we were celebrating a birthday and they delivered a candle without being reminded (because I forgot! and my girlfriend thought it was magical. The decor is very pleasant and upscale. The only part of the decor that doesn't fit was the restroom. Very clean and fresh, but very plain and small with the most typical of equipment (not that it matters but where I'm used to dining paying that much there are usually nicer restrooms . All in all a wonderful dining experience. Surprised they aren't Zagat rated. I think they would have a high score. I'd guess mid to high 20s for food, service, and decor. Thank you Winfield's for the delightful dinner.
