We spotted a s... read more The pies here are incredible! After indulging in a few too many wine tastings, we were in search of something to help soak up the excess alcohol. We spotted a sign promising a "**** good pie" and decided to check it out. I'm so glad we did! We ordered the "**** good" beef pie and a pepper steak pie. From the moment we took a bite of the crust, we could tell we were in for a treat. The crust is golden, flaky, and wonderfully crunchy, with a flavor that is anything but bland, perfectly complementing the delicious fillings, all of which are homemade and packed with taste. This isn't your average store-bought gravy; you can really tell the difference. At just under $10 per pie, it might seem a bit pricey, but when you consider the quality ingredients (real chunks of beef in the pepper steak pie and good minced meat in the beef pie), the generous size (larger than your typical pie), and of course, the amazing flavor, it's absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be returning the next time we’re in the area!
