there were some options on the day I visited a dal, veggie chili and mac n’ cheese. the person who went through the options with me seemed very knowledgeable. I chose the dal and got a very hearty part, with tear, garlic naan, mango chutney and spicy wobble. there were also some dessert options that we did not try out when we were too full! the food quality is great here and the service is beautiful. it's a really ni... What User doesn't like about Round Island Cafe:
The food here isn't outstanding, but if you're on Great Cumbrae, it's likely the best option available. They offer a decent variety of dishes, and for around £7, you can enjoy a hearty, straightforward meal. The location is excellent, and the staff are very friendly. View all feedback.

We came for a late lunch and since the other option on the island was totally packed, we went to round island cafe. and we were glad we made it! it is a cozy little place that offers soy cappuccinos and many vegan dishes, even different vegan burgers. we tried various burgers and they were good, personal was friendly, we would go back if we were back to cumbrae.
It’s fantastic to find vegan options on the island! I enjoyed a three-course dinner, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I will definitely be visiting again.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a restaurant with not just one, but several vegan options. I tried the vegan vegetable pasta bake, which I believe was one of the daily specials. It was very delicious, and the service was friendly. If you’re visiting Cumbrae, I highly recommend supporting this charming spot.
