The se... read more My wife and I were on vacation when we stumbled upon this hidden gem. We had no idea what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised and very satisfied. The service was excellent! The breakfast food and coffee were fantastic. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend visiting this place.

The lady that took our order made our day with speaking Spanish to us and noticed we where from Puerto Rico. Everyone had a smile and was super welcoming regardless of them being busy.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. My brewed coffee was simply delicious—smooth and complex with a subtle fruity finish. It was the perfect pick-me-up on a hectic day. I will definitely return to Broken Grounds when I’m back in Millersburg! Highly recommended!

She assu... read more There was only one person in line ahead of me, and the barista, Sara (I heard someone call her that after I placed my order), was very friendly to him. She assured me that she would be with me shortly, but then walked away. A few uncomfortable minutes later, she returned but bypassed me and asked one of the other staff members who was making drinks to take my order. I’m not sure if the person who took my order was new, but she seemed quite nervous and had to ask me to repeat my order—literally just a medium vanilla chai to go—several times. In the end, I left feeling quite disappointed that I had gone out of my way to support this business.
