This restaurant will always hold a special place in my heart. I have fond memories of dining here during high school. The food is consistently great, and I've never been let down by the turkey croissant club or the Frisco burger. I do miss the salad bar, though! I absolutely love the cherry cake à la mode! The servers are friendly and always ready to help. View all feedback.

The chicken pot was quite disappointing. It was overly liquidy and the chicken tasted artificial and had a gummy texture. It made me feel unwell and I wanted to leave. However, the host was very kind and we had a pleasant experience overall, although the quality of the food has really declined. View all feedback.
Marie Callender's has long been celebrated for its exceptional cakes. Unfortunately, my recent visit didn't quite live up to that reputation. I ordered the key lime pie, but it was neither tart nor sweet. Instead, it had a bland flavor, and the crust tasted burnt and appeared overcooked. I'm sorry to say, but key limes are meant to be tart, and this pie tasted more like standard limes.

I don't think that many people realize that the 3900 south location is open, but it is. our bowling group of about 11 women decided to eat at marie calenders because they take a room with tables that accommodate larger groups. the service was perfect and eating very well. Of course, some ladies bought on the way out pie, as it is very hard to leave marie calenders without having cake!
The burger wasn't too expensive and the waitress was friendly. Most impressively, the meal was made fast maybe faster than I have ever experienced at a restaurant. The fireplace is an incredible touch environment-wise.
I know that Marie Callenders isn't terribly popular right now but I gotta say their pies are awesome!I'm a big fan of fruit pies and am kind of always on the hunt for a good one. I was in the area and stopped in yesterday to try them out. I got a cherry and a razzleberry. Both of them are fantastic. The crust is the best part. It tastes truly fresh-made. Pretty tough to find a great crust on a baked pie these days. Other than a truly home-made pie, this is as good a crust as I've had.I'm a big cherry pie fan, and it's really good, but the razzlebery is even better.Much better than other restaurants that claim to make their own pies. And I was really surprised at the price. They're less than pies at my local Smiths or Harmons that are not nearly as good.Definitely worth a stop in.
