I highly re... read more I had a fantastic experience at Saigon Cafe in Millburn. The restaurant is small but charming. The service is fast and the food is incredibly tasty. I highly recommend trying the grilled beef banh mi and the beef pho, both of which were outstanding. The Vietnamese coffee with jelly was also good. If you're in the area, I definitely suggest stopping by. As for COVID precautions as of March 2022, all servers were wearing masks and the restaurant was very clean. The seating area is not large, but it wasn't overly crowded either. I felt comfortable dining indoors.

This hidden gem... read more I've found the best pho in the Union County area after trying several restaurants through delivery apps like DoorDash, Seamless, and Postmates. This hidden gem has completely won me over, and I've become a regular since they’re only available on Postmates now. In just 3-4 weeks since my first order, I've already placed two more. I always order their beef pho noodle soup and recently started adding grilled rare steak for an extra kick. Although they provide a generous portion of meat, I enjoy the variety, and the grilled beef is fantastic on its own thanks to its marinade. I appreciate that they're not stingy with the meat and maintain a great balance between the meat and other ingredients in the pho. The meat and broth are flavorful without being overly salty, and I'm never left wanting more broth or considering a refill. They also provide sauces and veggies on the side, which really elevate the dish. On my first order, I tried the grilled meat buns—one chicken and one beef. While they were decent, they didn’t impress me as much as I hoped, as I've had better versions elsewhere. Despite that, the pho is so excellent that I can't bring myself to give them anything less than five stars.
