Our waiter seemed disinterested in our table and didn’t acknowledge us much throughout the meal. We had to ask multiple times for someone to open our wine and inquire about allergens in a dish. Eventually, we flagged down another waiter who was very helpful. Over the course of our 2.5-hour visit, we only saw our assigned waiter about three times. While the food was enjoyable, it was quite expensive—our bill came to $260 for four people, even though we brought our own wine. I understand that food costs are high and service can be challenging these days, but there still needs to be a genuine effort to engage with customers.

The server said they were understaffed and couldn’t accommodate a group our size, even if we sat at separate tables and paid separately. We ended up eating across the street and noticed that their tables were all full later on. It seemed like they simply didn’t want to serve us. Lovely.
