My kids had a lot of fun looking at my... read more My favorite aspect of the library is the Alabama room. I have a passion for local history, and this area is rich with it. My kids had a lot of fun looking at my old school photos from Stanhope. I had to leave many of my belongings behind, including my yearbooks, so it’s wonderful to revisit them here. As a homeschooling mom, this library has been invaluable. Being a bookworm, I’ve discovered new authors to love and rekindled my affection for old favorites. While my kids don’t share my enthusiasm for books quite yet, they’ve also found a few favorites of their own. Millbrook has really excelled with this library; the staff is incredible and some of the kindest people you could meet. They have been especially patient with those of us who feel overwhelmed by technology and long for the days of the old card catalog!
