I frequently visit Bambu in San Mateo. It was a pleasant surprise to find it in Millbrae, next to where we parked. Their space was nice and clean. It provides ample seating to enjoy one's favorite dessert or drink.There was only one person serving and making the orders. I ordered an avocado smoothie and the avocado tasted rotten. I decided to inform the owner, Wendy or Winnie, about the issue. Instead of addressing my concerns, she was rude and hung up on me. Shortly after, a staff member called back to offer a refund, indicating that they were aware of the issue with the avocados. Loveeeeeee our bambu drinks....it's fresh and delicious. Our go to place all the time
I have been ordering from Bambu for over two years on Door Dash or in person. Hands down they make the best smoothies. Fresh, thick and reasonably priced. The staff is also very nice.
Enjoyed my drink and machine ice cream. Good maps brought us to the back of the building
Gourmet boba drinks. a little pricier than other Boba shops. older quantity. their drinks can be like a dessert in a cup.
I love bambu. my faves are crushed avocado and fruity.

The boba milk teas are decent, but they are seriously overpriced and have too little boba compared to the amount of liquid.

However, I was not satisfied with the treatment I received and mentioned that I would post a negative review on Yelp. The staff member then hung up on me again. This experience was ridiculous and I will not be returning to this restaurant. I am only giving one star in order to post this review, as they do not deserve any stars considering their poor customer service.
Cute little shop for che and drinks. I had a passionfruit orange drink, refreshing bubbly. A friend tried halo halo, it did not quite have all the ingredients but was pretty tasty. They have Vietnamese coffee that supposed to be good but it was late afternoon and I wanted to sleep tonight. It is a nice place to enjoy dessert and hang out a little with friends.
We had such wonderful time hang out at this dessert place, the other dessert didn't opened by Google hour so we all went to Bambu.Everything is on the not sweet side, even though though the dessert is not amazing but the atmosphere is quite awesome.

I wanted to bring to your attention that two negative reviews were affecting your business, potentially causing you to lose a loyal customer. I'm glad to see that the issue has been addressed and the delivery fee is back to $0. Now I can enjoy my daily smoothie again.
I love the Millbrae Bambu as they consistently deliver quality drinks and desserts in the last few years. Taro Coconut Smoothie with boba, Smashed Avocado, Pandan Waffle are among my favorites! And, the owner, and all the staff, esp. Angeli are always SO nice!
Love the quality always consistent. Staff is very friendly too when visiting store.
Smashed Avocado is my top choice for dessert.
