I lived in Millau for 5 years and have mountain hikes and photographs. One of my favorite hikes is above the Pouncho d 'Agast mountain, which forms the background of this bar/restaurant. After the descent of the mountain, I heard music playing from the bar that was closed for the border. I spyed cold beers in the glass front refrigerator and asked Philippe if I could buy one he replied, Would you like a drowned beer,... View all feedback.
What Mathis Nicolas doesn't like about La Pouncho:
Visited this restaurant only once... I ordered what I believed was the steak.. I was served a very bland beef burger type steak.. The mussels were very small with no flavour..everywhere there was flies.. Very disappointed. View all feedback.

After the descent of the mountain, I heard music playing from the bar that was closed for the border. I spyed cold beers in the glass front refrigerator and asked Philippe if I could buy one he replied, Would you like a drowned beer, Mike? After 9 weeks without caught beer I leapte the chance and he put his first keg for me. As a very thirsty one beer soon became two and I ordered a pizza as it was a take-away service. Morning normal service(ish). I have to say it was an excellent service because he just gave me a beer from the refrigerator. Thanks, mon ami.
Staying on a nearby campsite we visited was intrigued to know where the breaking disco/Rave came from every night to the small hours. Found an extremely loud DJ playing at an audience of only 4 with half eleven on Tuesday. This restaurant is a...Blight in the local area with its antisocial noise, rules in France are obviously very different to those of the United Kingdom.
We went to this place shortly before 7:00 to find that the staff eating dinner and the service began at 7:00 (not to mention that on any menu or anything). They told us to sit on a table (the direct sunlight in 35 degrees heat) and we had to wait 20 minutes. Birds, flies and wasps took the place while we waited and ate. The food was good, but there was no indication that we had to go to the bar for the bill, so we sat like lemons at our table after our puddings for about half an hour. I wouldn't leave.
I'm not a pizza lover but had one here and was tasty, cooked over a wood fire. Seems to be a haven for para-gliders, canoeists and similar. Great if you are a pizza lover.
