Shawnigan House Coffee & Chocolate

I recently stopped for a coffee on my way to Kinsol Turtle and although I enjoyed the coffee, I found the owner to be quite insulting. I felt like he was going to ask where I was from and then criticize my home. Because of this experience, we have decided not to return to this establishment.

Located right next to the main train station and pharmacy with limited parking spaces, this charming coffee house and bakery is a delightful spot to enjoy a big cup of coffee. The cozy indoor seating and warm atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax in cold weather, or you can sit on the veranda and enjoy the view. During summer, guests are welcome to stay as long as they like. To fully appreciate the experience, be sure to try one (or more) of the delicious baked goods made by the talented baker. Pair it with your coffee for a divine combination. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like you're among good friends.

I was only in Shawnigan Lake for a short time, but I had a great experience at this cozy village coffee shop. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We sat outside in the sun, but there were also a few tables available inside. The coffee and snacks were delicious.
