Bluebells Cakery - Milford New Zealand

I’ve ordered 3 cakes from Bluebells for 3 seperate birthdays and they have all been presented so beautifully. The first and third cake was banana and salted caramel which was a unique flavour and would probably suit people who don’t like an overly sweet cake in this case my mum. The second was a chocolate cake which was great for chocolate lovers. However the icing (outer layer) of the cakes was too sweet for my liking and I usually like sweet things. The ordering process is easy as you can sit down in store and talk to the staff about it or do it all online and calculate prices if you’re on a budget.

Cakes are just perfect. I like the simple look and moist decadent cake filled with sumptuous filling. <br/ <br/ The cake is not too rich because it is ganache rather than straight buttercream. Simple and elegant cake designs.

It was a beautiful red velvet cake.<br/ The presentation was immaculate as always and makes a lovely surprise for family and friends.<br/ The flavour of the cake was good.<br/ All in all a great experience.<br/

This is a cosy little cafe tucked away on a lively walkway. The decor was clean and simplistic, it felt very relaxing being inside of the cafe.<br/ <br/ We ordered a lemon cupcake and a red velvet cupcake. The lemon curd/frosting was not too sweet and complimented the cupcake well. But the red velvet cupcake was only average, I've had better elsewhere.

Guilt free Cacao Peanut Butter Banana smoothie so goooddd! Their desserts are also top notch and brownie points to the friendly and welcoming staff as well
