Kiki - Milford

The restaurant has an appealing atmosphere and the service was excellent. It has the vibe of a stylish Tiki bar while also offering an upscale dining experience. However, the food portions were quite large and came out too quickly, which made it feel like everything had been pre-cooked and merely reheated. Unfortunately, everything we ordered was extremely bland and lacked flavor, making our meal feel like a waste of money compared to the fantastic Italian restaurants in Fairfield County. On the positive side, the Tiki-themed bar is beautiful and seems like a great spot for drinks, but I would recommend skipping the food.

The restaurant is overpriced, and the food lacks flavor. The service was okay, though the waiter seemed slightly annoyed when we asked questions about the menu, appearing as though making changes was a major inconvenience for him, while he was friendly to other tables. On the positive side, the outdoor seating is lovely, and the ambiance is pleasant. There is potential for this restaurant if the staff could put in more effort in the kitchen.

I ordered some bread, but it took half an hour to be served. My food was left on the table after I finished eating, and the service was lacking. The avocado in my appetizer was brown, and I found the prices to be too high for the quality of the food.

We love Kikis. The decor is beautiful and the waiting staff is so beautiful. The only reason I didn't give him 5 stars was that it took a while to get our drinks. With a party of 15 people, I would have expected people to constantly review us. But everywhere people are short, so I can't blame them. If you don't mind waiting, I'd do it that way!

Rating based on seating at bar for dinner. Immediate attention -but slow on 1st drink delivery and also follow up for dinner order. “Special” dinner delivered did not match menu description. Had to be remade (protein not prepared same way, sides were different as well). Both chicken and swordfish dinners were very good, once corrected.
