We asked for an isolated table at which to dine with aging parents; we booked a reservation on a weekday and landed in a sunroom with no other diners, off the bar and overlooking the town green. The bartender is really a great mixologist and an attentive waitress. The food was fresh blue point oysters!, well presented and served hot. Would highly recommend View all feedback.

It was our first time at this place. The entry was not welcoming but once we figured out where the entrance was, the hostess was very nice. We had reservations but we’re seated out on the patio. We were the only ones sitting on the patio and felt like we had not been welcomed to eat inside with tablecloths and candlelight. Very awkward. The staff was very accommodating, food was delicious and our waitress was excellent.
Founders House provided a cozy atmosphere on a rainy night. The portions were generous and we enjoyed oysters, baked stuffed shrimp and fish chips. Their strawberry tres leches is so good, especially if you like those strawberry shortbread ice cream bars! Also, our server, Samantha, was delightful!
We were very excited to be served again by Tania, had an excellent dinner as always!
