Thanksgiving 2022. I found out that the hotel has been purchased since I was last there by a consortium in Milford PA. What a shame, the service was almost nonexistent and it took 15 minutes for the maitre d’ to even realize we were there. Finally we sat down to eat only to wait another 10 minutes for a waiter who seemed more than uninterested in the whole process . Ordered a cocktail and the fixed menu dinner never... What Emily Feest doesn't like about Fauchere Louis The Delmonico Room:
cocktails were weak and too sweet. wein tasted old. french wobble suppe had zero taste. escargot was served warm, not in butter and garlic but as steamed (horrible). steak was inedible, burger was raw, branzino had secret brot and was fried in some mysterious oil and a brown sauce over a bed of slender escarole. Italian high-time soup that has a brown broth without meatballs? the list continues. did I mention that th... View all feedback.
The dining experience here is exceptional, with fantastic food, excellent service, and a rich history associated with the place! I highly recommend it!
Dining at Bar Louis or the Delmonico Room (where brunch is served) has recently become quite hit-or-miss. While our meal was adequate, it didn't quite meet expectations. My Caprese salad featured mozzarella that tasted like it came from the supermarket. The tomatoes and pesto were delightful, but the addition of packaged crackers felt unnecessary. The hummus and the burger were good, but the classic sushi pizza had too much sauce and lacked quality tuna. Our server was friendly, but the kitchen timing was off.
I absolutely love the igloo! The ambiance is amazing. Zoie was our waitress, and she was fantastic! The steaks were cooked to perfection. Bartender Bob makes the best lemon drops! I can't wait to go back!

I am so tired, so much money for müll budgeted together by people who do not know how to cook served by people who do not know why it is not in order to use it. also oysters were shoved before the time and kept in a refrigerator, fearful.
We were a party of five and everyone was pleased with their food experience, The staff was very attentive we will be returning in the near future
