We had a wonderful evening here! Everyone was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The drinks were very affordable, and the room was spotless. The scenery was breathtaking, and the fresh air was an added bonus. We will definitely be back, this time to try their famous food. Kudos to the owners, staff, and residents of Millfield! Just had what should have been a nice meal whilst on holiday with my wife. The chips served with the steak and ale pie were probably the worst I have ever had and spoiled the meal.when pointed out to the waitress,she simply said sorry. View all feedback.
Very nice meal and beautiful staff. it was recently finished and the bar moved to give more place in the restaurant. good real ales also
The 5 stars say it all, the staff were very friendly and accomodating , the food was amazing, the steak and ale pie has to be tried, all homemade with suet pastry .homemade chips, what a treat. The sticky toffee pudding was so light and moist, with a lovely butterscotch sauce. The starters (chicken goujons) again perfect. Would highly recommend a visit, and I travelled a long way on recommendation and would happily do it again. Thank you Red Lion Inn at Milfield
Had Sunday lunch here today and it was lovely. Very large portion of perfectly cooked beef and all the trimmings. Delicious.
Nice pub in a small rural village with plenty of parking, tasty sensible food and some good beers and an open fire. Very welcoming staff and a relaxing place to be in.
