Every time I go to Brass Monkey it's nothing but smiles, good service and fantastic food. The last day I went was last Friday when it was very busy with only one waitress working, with no booking the four of us were still able to just get a table. Lucky us. You can tell the waitress was running off her feet but considering they've only just started doing lunch and can't expect to know how busy they are going to be when people like me haven't booked! I'm also pretty sure she had two other waitresses call in sick to work. The buffalo wings are a must, beef tacos were delightful but the best was absolutely the popcorn prawns!! Omg. With a great wine and beer selection you must give this place a go. Definitely in the top 3 in Mildura. Just make sure you book out of courtesy!

With the new trading hours it was the perfect excuse to go out for lunch. A large selection of choices with an express lunch menu & dinner menu available to order from the decisions were difficult to make.We opted for the buffalo wings with a delicious blue cheese dipping sauce to share, my friends ordered from the bowls selection and I had the pork belly bao. The meals & service were sensational therefore we returned the following week. The word must be out about how great this place is because the small restaurant was full & had people waiting for tables to become available. The poor waitress was on her own this time but handled the pressure well and despite we had to wait a little longer than last time it was worth the wait. We Highly recommend the popcorn prawns! Keep up the good work Brass Monkey

We went just before 1pm on a Friday. The place was packed. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated. It was apparent there was only one waitress working, and she had to do the tables, bar, takeaway, clearing tables and till. Once we were seated it took another 10 minutes to be given a menu. We could see the sole waitress was flat out, but she was pretty good at her job. Another 10 minutes later she took our order - some 30 minutes after entering the establishment. We ordered three items from the entree menu and one item from the express lunch menu. Thirty minutes later we received our lunch. One of the dishes, the wantons was cold. The others, being deep fried popcorn shrimp and cauliflower croquettes, whilst adequate, are not value for money at almost $20 each. The Vietnamese roll was excellent, but could have been prepared in two minutes instead of thirty. The bill came to about $95 (we had four glasses of wine). Definitely not value for money. What we received could have been made at the local fish and chip shop, and we wouldn't have had to wait an hour and spent almost $100 for it! Lift your game guys!

The staff is very nice and attentive. The food was cold when it was delivered to the table. We had eggs and bacon and a toast that if they were at least hot, they would have been good, but they were best warm. Disappoint.

Not a restaurant but pleasant casual cafe. Food was good and well presented and coffee and tea better than most.Staff very nice. Small but OK wine list.
