The Horseshoe Inn - Mildenhall

My family, including six of us plus two boyfriends/girlfriends and our dog, visited the Horseshoe for Sunday Lunch last week and had a great experience. The Horseshoe is a charming thatched pub located in the quiet village of Mildenhall (pronounced 'Minal') near Marlborough in Wiltshire. The interior of the pub is clean, well-lit, and well-maintained, and the landlord and staff were welcoming and cheerful. We enjoyed the Doom real ale and another locally brewed beer, both of which were in good condition and tasted great. Our dog was warmly welcomed, and the atmosphere was bustling, friendly, and relaxed. The pub has ample parking space, as well as a large lawn with tables for enjoying the sun and the beautiful views over the Kennet valley. While the garden is somewhat lacking in features, it would be ideal for hosting a marquee for events such as weddings, which they seem to promote. The food, including the delicious Sunday roast with a few optional dishes, was well-prepared and tasty. The meat was particularly flavorful, although the presentation of the vegetables could be improved. Overall, the Horseshoe is a lovely spot for a traditional pub Sunday lunch, with plenty of space and a dog-friendly atmosphere.

This is a true country pub with gorgeous chairs arranged around a cozy fire, blooming roses adorning the entrance, and lovely gardens. The pub offers a good selection of pub food and beer at reasonable prices, along with excellent customer service. The setting boasts beautiful landscapes and is frequented by both locals and tourists. It has an authentic, non-commercialized feel and captures the essence of dining in an English country pub. It is like stepping into a scene from a movie or TV show. I will definitely return.

One of my top three favorite pubs is the Horseshoe Inn. I love this place and enjoy stopping by with my mom. I really enjoy the food and I also love the owner's friendly dogs. This pub is autism-friendly, which is great for me as I have autism. They serve delicious food and drinks, and have a large pub garden where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There are plenty of parking spaces available and the toilets are very clean. The furniture is also stunning. I have had some wonderful meals here with my family, and even brought my grandad as a thank you for helping me with my bedroom wallpaper. He loved it too. I will definitely be coming back for more tasty meals, as I am pleased that this pub is autism-friendly and has been approved by Ben.

This place is a jewel! the owners are really beautiful. we take our children for eating and drinking and they could not take up (especially with my two lärmmonsters to understand). good selection of drinks, wine selection could be better, but if they don't sell much, no real care. Eating is excellent, only a part of chips and a sandwich is a real joy. have been for a few meal times and will take part for more. main dishes, are locally produced and delicious. clean, neat and good price.
