Arrived for a dinner with friends, I was told there was no pizza available at the restaurant as pizzas were only served in the pizzeria (which was completely em... read more Arrived for a dinner with friends, I was told there was no pizza available at the restaurant as pizzas were only served in the pizzeria (which was completely empty), meanwhile the other waiter was serving pizzas to the table next to us When I ordered a wiskey and cola the waiter started to laugh and told me to go and ask the barman . I then had to go to the bar leaving my table but the bar said he had no idea how to make a wiskey and cola. We ordered food and a bottle of wine and despite the restaurant was half empty they took more than 20mins to bring a bottle of water The food came late and the pasta was with see food but only 3 mussels per plate. Not all the plates we ordered arrived, at all!! Calling the service a disaster would be a compliment. I would not come back to this restaurant again not even if this would be the last on the planet Worst experience of the last 10 years

Th... read more Rapa Nui is a complex of a restaurant, a bar, a pizzeria and a beach. Everything is located in a beautiful garden and you can walk wherever you want to stay. The beach is the only address in Salina to get sunbeds and umbrellas. We went to the restaurant, but we were also able to order from the pizzeria. The restaurant has high prices, but prices in the pizzeria are normal. We took antipasti fish plate, some calamari and a pizza. The fish plate was excellent, the pizza was good and the calamari was average (to dry). All in all, a good location with some very good courses but a little bit overpriced.

The chef comes to your table to personally explain the menu an added touch that we really appreciated. We cannot ignore the dolci di sapori siciliani del maestro pasticcere messinese Alfredo Capodici. He is truly an artist and everything that was served to us was exquisite. This was such a special, personal experience very friendly and welcoming. The fish is fresh and every dish is prepared with care and presented in a fine and delicate fashion. Overall a great experience. Undisputedly the best restaurant on the island! The proprietor's have crafted this Aeolian gem out of local products and created their dream of serving up high quality Italian and traditional Aeolian dishes to locals and international visitors. The owner Domenico makes this place so special not only with his personality but with the quality of food, and outstanding service, English are all spoken fluently by the proprietors and the experienced staff. The food is delicious and reasonable priced, the smooth music makes a pleasant atmosphere with an enjoyable dinner. The restaurant is beautifully designed overlooking the sea with crystal clear water. Wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended if you like some different foods with special touch from an unforgettable island of paradise.
