Dinner at this popular restaurant was fun and delicious. We were seated inside and enjoyed both the decor and the 70’s soundtrack that was playing. After two appetizers (the crispy octopus was wonderful and the vegetable flan was creamy, both were so good), our next dish was the double creamy risotto and linguine with clams. Mouthwatering! One of our main dishes was the catch of the day. The other was a mistake because we mis-translated the menu. It was a meat dish and we are pescatarians. We were willing to pay for it as it was our error but the waiter was insistent on bringing us another fish dish to replace it. What arrived was a delicious turbot fish plate that was also a feast for the eyes. We highly recommend this restaurant!
We ended up at this restaurant by accident looking for water on a hot Sunday. Decided to stay for lunch. This was our first day in Italy so our first restaurant. This place held its own as one of our best meals in Italy throughout our whole trip. On my top 3 meals in Italy after a 3 week trip.
I needed a place to sit and get out of the rain, while waiting for my appointment to see the Last Supper at the nearby monastery. Such a nice spot. A coffee, a water, and a slice of cake was less than 10 euros. The coffee was gooood. Great bathrooms too.
