Well... read more Dinner for couples; nice place with typical dishes of the Lombard tradition. Tables at the right distance, informal but refined environment, good service. Well cooked dishes faithful to tradition. The only flaw, unfortunately a common evil in Milan: huge mark-up on wine between 200 and 300%, basic wines that I pay privately for less than 10 euros a bottle, seeing them on the menu at over 30 makes you think, to counterbalance more renowned labels have mark-ups smaller and more justified. Overall a nice place to spend a nice evening.

I wanted them to try the Milanese cuisine and I picked Testina even though I hadn’t tried it before, but I have heard some good reviews. We were really impressed, including me. We took the ossobuco and costoletta alla Milanese, and both plates couldn’t be any more perfect… they were delicious. This will definitely become my favorite spot for Milanese cuisine!
