Orobianco Street Mozzarella - Milano

We enjoyed the mozzarella and ham selection, but it was unfortunately just a very small selection and the aperitivo bar isn‘t really fulfilling at all. The atmosphere lacks a little bit of coziness and looks more like a fast food restaurant, although the staff was nice. I‘d recommend going there for a little mozzarella snack as the menu looked nice to me, but not for aperitivo as there are better places to go in Milan.

We loved it. It just by coincidence we found this Cousy and authentic mozzarella bar. The taste of the buffalo mozzarella is unforgettable and the way they serve it it’s cool and modern. A must visit for Milan hidden track) cool places.

I 'm a Canadian living in Italy and I love to check out the quirky sides of Italy, especially all... that... food! I stumbled across this Street Mozzarella place actually with the name Orobianco which means “white gold”...nice one, guys in a Chinatown pedestrian street. Italians have a pretty strict eating schedule so we were lucky to catch the place before the lunch rush. We were not disappointed. The menu is pretty small but the quality is fantastic. We kept ordering more! Food culture can dramatically change within 10 kilometres in Italy so I noticed they had taken the best from each region to put on their menu. Ham from Parma, tomatoes from Sorrento, spinach-type thing “friarelle” from Naples and, oh good Lord... the cheese. Freshly made buffalo mozzarella cheese you can watch them making it right in front of you! deep-fried mozzarella balls, or for a real treat: Mozzarella in Carrozza which is cheese with a slice of ham between two thin bread slices and then deep-fried.... don’t let me ruin it with my words, just go order it and thank me later Craft beers on tap, prosecco, and if you have room, cheesecake and panna cotta. Its as if you spent all day preparing the perfect Italian meal to impress your friends... but someone else cleans up. We’ll certainly be back.

Very good food (especially mozzarella in carrozza) and nice people serving it! Located in a central position and easy to find.

Ottimo aperitivo nel centro dello street food Milanese. Tutto a base di mozzarella di bufala, fatta a vista in negozio. Ottimi tutti i piatti tipici della cucina napoletana e da provare la birra artigianale.
