Just wow. Wow. Wow. What an experience. The food was 11/10 with the most beautiful presentation. Impeccable service. Lovely atmosphere. We got the set menu and everything was SO delicious. Even made my skeptical mom a sushi lover. Also, Michele is amazing :
The BEST Japanese restaurant in Milan. All the dishes are incredible. The owner Michele is so passionate about his job. The quality of the ingredients is something that you cannot find anymore in the usual restaurants. Super high quality, very authentic and never disappointing. Highly recommended!

If I could give more stars I would. Mookuzai is not a simple restaurant, it is a journey to Japan. A journey that is not only culinary but enriching, from all points of view. The owner's experience, baggage and knowledge are what make a culinary journey perfect that already was. Aside from my poetic streak, I can say with certainty that going to Mookuzai means trying typical Japanese cuisine that can in no way be compared to what we think of.
