The fact it was less than 1... read more We visited Bar Miro after being lured in by the fans outside blowing a spray of cool water after an 8 hour train journey from Paris. The fact it was less than 100m from our hotel was a plus. Service was great and quick and food, pasta and pizza, was lovely too. I’m fact we enjoyed it so much we returned for a 2nd visit when we returned back through Milan a couple of weeks later.

The pesto tagliatelle was quite nice, however, the carbonara was very stodgy and the bacon was just fat so was quite disappointing.

We went for a mid morning coffee, attracted by the thrones outside, naturally we took photos of each of us sitting on the relevant throne. It's a talking point! It's not an exceedingly cheap place but the guy who served us was agreeable and efficient and we decided to go back for lunch. It was busy but that didn't affect the service. We left with pleasant memories of the place. I find it difficult to accept that some of the reviews here are genuine, they differ so enormously from the experience of my wife and I.
