La Fontanella - Milano

This is a crazy place where you don't order a pint of beer. This is the place where beer are plentiful! So get them in all shapes and sizes and it is fun! Crowded places and loud. I like the concept, but for me this is not the sort of place I would go if you are on a romantic getaway in Milan. This place is good if you want to drink looots of beer preferable with a bunch of friends. We were a couple and it was fun to try a Yard of beer, but we left shortly after we had finished the beer. The downside to me, might have been the toilets. One toilet had no lock, no light and no toilet paper (I did not go in there), the other toilet, to my big surprise had light and paper! But the floor, oh man, the floor! For me a clean toilet is sort of important. So, this place is not for everyone, but if you are looking for lots of beer, this is the place for you!

The only reason i am able to get through my classes is because i spend my lectures daydreaming about the 14 liters of beer i will get with my friends once i am out of class. never in my life have i encountered a bar that is so encouraging of drinking way too much beer and making poor life decisions. honestly some people will prefer to spend their euros taking museum tours or otherwise immersing themselves in italian culture but i would rather pour 2 liters of dragoon down my throat and reveal my most intimate life secrets to total strangers through broken italian. 100% recommend this bar to homesick americans missing the US pastime of binge drinking and also to italians who want to learn how to party

We had the 18 LITER Kraken. It was 15 of us (we each paid a little more than 12 euro. It was the perfect size for a great time. Fun atmosphere. Board games scattered around, communal tables, and great sizes!

Local famous for the extravagant beer containers. beer is good but not special; Besides, if you go there just do to get drunk with liters and liters of beer, in front of the boats. food quite disappointing (especially chips) but I allow myself to say that it is not for that you go there. there is also the possibility to ask for table games. they also have to drink, but if you want, you are wrong on the spot (or you are the loser of the group that does not drink beer.) Saturday the row is improposable so don't even try. on Friday if you go very soon you have no problem. every other day the entrance is insured.

Large room, on two floors and with possibility to find place also outside. beer is great and it is particular how to serve them in unconventional containers! in the evening is a little crowded, but if you arrive for a while you can definitely find place. when it is very crowded, the service is a bit slow but there is (especially the kitchen)
