The food and wine were great as was the atmosphere but the service was hopeless. I am not sure I can add more than that although everything was very well priced.

Highlights in the fittings strongly allude to workers' rights movement in the 1950-70s, including Hazet 36 very large wrenches then used mostly as dissuasion by security in marches. Food we tried is too expensive at 8-12 Euro a dish to be just a way to celebrate being together, too simple (and small in servings) to be enjoyable in its own right. I felt out of place like with a bad joke, or with pretenders fancying a past different from theirs. Maybe another time, with a reading or conference? Oh, the phone number on the web site is wrong, of course, and the messages you leave on the answering machine ignored. You need to call the number on the printed business card. Service is kind when you get there, better than any of the above.

This is an amazing place with extras (they do literature evenings with aperitivi and poems reading, as well as other lovely things) and delicious home made food. Not a huge choice, and maybe not fancy enough for a posh dinner, but truly cozy, warm and welcoming place to enjoy simple good food over a conversation. It was recommended to us by a local friend, and now we are highly recommending it too.

Relaxing and pleasant meal. good quality food at a reasonable price. looks like a place that regularly attracts, and the booking is necessary at the weekend.
