Is great food always the only reason to go to a restaurant? In the case of Boccascena no. I've only been there for lunch a quick lunch I may add. The food is nothing to write home about but the outdoor seating is very charming. I love sitting in the courtyard of Palazzo Litta, knowing that there is noise and traffic just steps away. Nice and quiet, away from the traffic and noise : Good place to go for a drink. But food is pretty small and boring. We got the chicken sandwich and the grilled chicken. A bit disappointed by the food, but it is quite cheap which can be a good thing : would recommend it as a place to go for a drink :

Yet, in the courtyard it is wonderfully quiet. I hope over time they will pay more attention to the food and offer a more sophisticated fare. Still I find the service charming, the setting lovely and the wine perfectly fine
