House fountain has been an authority on rice for at least 30 years: for me a guarantee, when I want to treat myself well or make nice figure with my guests pleasant color choice of the room and very pleasant the windows that, with the dark, become mirrors and communicate a greater amplitude of the room itself there are some tables outside, on which I think it is however pleasant the meal, given the poor traffic of the place where the local is located
Good risottos, sin the limitation of the two risottos at table (we were 6) pretty expensive
The first impact with this place I must admit it was not exciting. we arrived in a sunny day. By crossing the threshold, we found ourselves in a room in half a shade, rather small and tetra, ungrateful to the inverosimile. the tables here are really close, approaching each other: Make it hard to reach what you were destined to, and then the waiters struggle to reach you. Let's say a little demotivated. a first consolation, however, comes from the menu that, next to a few starters and a few seconds, turns on your imagination and your palate with an amazing amount of risottos. risotto in all their declinations: delicate, spicy, sumptuous, hypercaloric, of tradition, innovative ... there is everything. and it becomes difficult to choose! what uncertainty ... how to do? reading the menu better, however, so embarrassing disappears, as you learn that you can not, individually, choose, among the many, a risotto. to order that variant or that other one, you have to agree with your commensale (or your commensali.) the choice, inevitably, shrinks, because your goits have to agree with those of others ... and the thing can get complicated. for us it was not so difficult to get along. we opted for the unison for the most unconventional risotto, which in the menu is indicated with the excellent phrase, but little understood how to resist the challenge? so: garlic risotto for two. We expected a lot, given the presentation, and the expectations were not disappointed. simple but original dish, full of personality, consisting of a parmigiana risotto covered with fried garlic slices in butter, crisp and golden at the right point, with an intense aroma and a heavenly taste. my vote of this restaurant is therefore very good both for the realization of the risotto with garlic and for the other dishes we have experienced, that is salad of artichokes and bottarga of appetizer and fried cervella as second. vote very good as well as for food, also for the kindness and professionalism of the owner. but I can't deny you and deny that for my goths there are so many aspects to perfect...
We stayed with friends and enjoyed the local and service. the menu really offers the 23 risottos of the name. we tried the one with purple and scamorza and the one with the luganega. Very good. In the waiting we enjoyed also two appetizers (the cantabric anchovies with crostini and butter and that of the house that proposes involtini di verza e porro, and radicchio with polenta.) to finish a cream cooked in two. with a bottle of resumption we spent 50€ per head. a little too, but surely the local deserves a visit
