Vegera Restaurant Cafe Bar Mykonos

Beautiful seaside restaurant with breathtaking views.. we stopped in to take a little break from sightseeing. Just had a little appetizer of hummus pita and then decided on a coffee. The pita hummus was spiced nicely and it was super fresh. The coffee was the highlight for me. Looking around we could see everyone with giant fresh Greek salads seafood entrees. The server was great quick service. I went inside to use the restroom and I was surprised how spotlessly clean everything was since the restaurant was so busy. So we had reservations for my 40th birthday party at 9:30pm we Show up at 9:25 and walk in there are 4 people working that were visible there were three tables full. The wait staff looked at us like we were inconveniencing them? And the tables looked put off by us being there like it was a. Private event??? We told the wait staff that we had a reservation for 9:30pm and they scrambled to put together a table for us. The place was essentially empty then they did seat us they left us alone for over 12 minutes we got up and left. I was very sad. Wish I could have had the seafood meal I traveled from Alaska to enjoy. Thanks for nothing. Meal type: Dinner Atmosphere: 2

Great service!! The location is so beautiful tucked into a corner so not so many disturbances from the walking crowd! Good vegetarian options. The guy greeted well and made us seated! Explained different options from the drink menu and food menu!! Crispy zucchini balls were awesome so as the sunset drink!! Defintely one of the best icecreams places on the island! I can feel the roasted pistachios in it! Worth trying everything
