El Cortijo La Herradura - Mijas

This was about my 5th visit and it is consistently brilliant. For starters we had the Txistorra Basque Chorizo that is always sensational and gampbas pil pil large, succulent in a large bowl sizzling to perfection and then a T bone to share meat heaven! Just GO!

Service excellent, venue excellent , salad Catijo outstanding . Steaks blew our minds . Eaten in best steakhouses all around the world . The steaks were amazing . You have to come here even invest in a taxi ride. Food incredible !

We spotted this place by accident driving past at night and couldn’t pull in because the road was nuts but came back the next lunchtime. So glad we did. In amongst garden centres and cash and carries on a busy road you would never know from the outside how great the interior is. A lovely shaded patio/bar area in a colonial style and a big, Spanish traditional hacienda restaurant behind. The food was epic! I had chargrilled octopus and my husband had basque fish stew, we were given spicy sausage as a free appetiser as the waiter was concerned about the wait but it was no problem at all. Great, friendly service, very reasonable prices, huge gin and tonics!!!! Loved it.

Me comí una txuleta de vaca gallega de un 1/2kg con unas patatas,todo tremendo,las patatas crujientes y buenas y la carne sellada y por dentro en el punto al que tiene que estar,a parte de la comida personal muy competente y apañao,muy bien todo calidad precio

Buscando un sitio para comer con la familia dimos con Otola, fue un gran acierto.
