we visited on Easter Sunday when they know about Spanish, they know that this is a big day, with parades and icons. we saw the parade then a snack and drinks in a fantastic location next to the church. good service, good prices and...our favourite snack from spanien, bocadillo de tortilla! yes, Spanish omelette on a roll. when you chase this place, it is around the back of the church and away from the main places. What Carlota Torres doesn't like about Cafeteria La Muralla:
went with a friend and my friend to have a coffee and an ice cream and the service was pretty bad. we have looked at the ice creams that try one and one of the waiters came to us and said not to open the refrigerator, but in a very rude way. he spoke in Spanish to my friend who is Scottish and does not understand a word. we asked for an ice and they said it was not available. in general the service very bad. not warm... The caffe is located on the side of the church, in a very pleasant walk under some distances at the entrance of the botanical gardens. my wife and I often visit a simple, typical Spanish breakfast with garlic and tomato. with coffee. very tasty and very simple. directly after a morning hike in the mountains. the waiter in the morning is charming and has a dead look with a dry sense of humor. he lets me laugh. this caffe is worth a visit if they are in mijas pueblo.
We stopped at this beautiful location in mijas for lunch. away from the hectic and the hectic. great service from a very friendly waiter. order sandwiches and chips all very nice and drink beautiful and cold. will be back to the next visit of mijas

I will certainly not recommend this place.
The food is simple, straight forward Spanish and afforable. Nice surroundings, Old church, park, view and fountains and only 100 steps away from the local Auditorium and Bull fight Arena. The Coffee and Tarta and also Tea and Tarta are on the offer, the carrot...cake, Tarta Zanahorias with lemon was even excellent. We visited then twice, nice calm area. friendly prices
