Restaurant du Canal - Migennes

I have just been to the restaurant this evening and you get 3 courses for 24€ 50 in the evenings.I ate fois gras with apricot as a starter, then a steak and a fondant au chocolat for dessert.Each course was exceptionally well presented and really appetizing. We were also offered some finger food whilst we were waiting for the starters.I would certainly recommend this restaurant on a summer evening to anyone staying on a boat in Migennes - Le Boat or Locaboat for example. I live locally and intend to go back to this restaurant soon.

Our group of 12 had a long meal here on our last night on the canalA very enjoyable occasion and our young and very friendly waiter was a star. The food [ 3courses] and wine were excellent and good value for money-- the total bill came to 45 euros per head including tip. Recommended

Came here for lunch after reading the good reviews on trip advisor. We were really disappointed by the not very interesting menu de jour. The crudités was basically lettuce one piece of tomato and dressing I've never had such an uninteresting crudités before. The fish was ok but again not very exciting to the taste buds at least the desserts were okPrice ok 11.50€ plus drinks but have had more satisfying meals for the same price elsewhere in France

What food, exceptional home cooked food served by delightful staff. Menu isnt vast but would have something for all including the youngster with us. Three of us had the ravioli superb, steak excellent , fish dish wow, desserts were all eaten with gusto. Presenration was exceptional Wine list is very good. Nothing special outside but dont let that put you off. Deffo would go again
