Their beef broccoli, hawaiian pork fried rice are so delicious! I really love it and tastes so much better than all the other Chinese restaurants I've tried here in Oklahoma. I've tried their Kalbi, calamari, sesame chicken orange chicken and it was so-so. There was barely any Kalbi, maybe one rib cut into tiny pieces mixed with so much veggies to make it look big. The coating for the calamari was soggy and the insid... View all feedback.
What Alvina Hill doesn't like about Golden Phoenix Bistro:
Had a late lunch here. The place was practically empty - and it took an inordinate period of time for the folks to notice they had a customer.
Anyway decided to try the food.
Ordered the Ginger Beef with Fried Rice and the Hot & Sour soup.
The Hot & Sour soup was good. Not too spicy and a bit more vinegar than most.

Have been here in the past, and the food is mediocre. With this last visit, however, my husband and daughter-in-law came down with food poisoning. We will never eat there again!
The service was excellent and the grilled shrimp sausage spring rolls were good, though a bit bland. We had the stir-fried tofu and vegetables, which was wretched; it had the texture and taste of canned Chun King, including a sauce with the consistency of mucus. Also, the brown rice was, unnecessarily, an extra cost. The bathroom, although clean, had a television screen *on the mirror*, which I found truly incomprehensible and a bit creepy.

The Ginger Beef probably is not really what most folks think of as Ginger Beef. It is crispy deep fried and covered on a really good sweetish sauce devoid of any hint of ginger (ground, liquid, minced, sliced, julienned or whatever). Still it was excellent if not what I was expecting. I likely will order it again. The fried rice wasn't bad but was likely pre-made quite a while ago.
I had purchased a Groupon online and decided to go last Friday night. This place is very clean with attentive staff. Started off with an appetizer which were spring rolls then I had the squid with lemongrass for dinner which was very hot as posted but it was amazingly good. This place is kind of hard to find not on a main street but tucked away in a shopping center. I would definitely go back
During trips to Tinker, I make a point to stop here for their Rare Beef Pho Very fresh and delicious.
